Blue and Pink Lacquered Japanese Washi Paper
Lacquered Yuzen has a distinctive raised texture created by wax and ink which is not found in ordinary Yuzen paper. This embossed finish resembles the look of traditional Japanese lacquerware pieces. Each wax coated layer of pink and blue ink is hand silkscreened onto a high content Kozo base providing durability and flexibility. The lacquered chiyogami is ideal for bookmaking, origami and any paper craft requiring a sturdy paper with a unique finish.
The Sakura pattern explodes with tiny pink flower blooms across the page, great for projects needing a floral element.
